Noted for his natural acting skills and keen sense of business and diversification, Danso
Gordon has very capably proven that nothing is impossible for someone like him who is
ever-willing to live up to his goals and get into fulfilling his loftiest dreams. The
Canadian-born actor moved to Halifax, Nova Scotia from his native Toronto, Ontario
when he was just twelve. At 15, he came to Los Angeles to live with his father, and
consequently began pursuing his career in acting. He starred in a national footwear
commercial with basketball superstar Charles Barkley. His popularity as a celebrity
endorser has captured him choice commercial performances for McDonaldʼs, Verizon,
Saturn, T-Mobile, Mountain Dew, State-Farm, Dominos, Time Warner and Foot Locker.
Danso Gordon had also been a regular cast member in three TV series: Disneyʼs In a
Heartbeat; NBCʼs Hang Time; and the N-Networkʼs South of Nowhere. His numerous
film performances include Dear Wendy, American History X, and the horror movie Dark
House. Danso Gordon has also co-directed a short film entitled Cole, which bagged the
Best Actor in a short film award at the Playhouse West Film Festival. Impressive for
someone whose professional acting career also includes appearances in the cult-hit TV
show Sliders and who started with his first professional acting gig at CBCʼs Street
Cents. Mr. Gordon has giftedly carried on the tradition of Canadian invasion of the
entertainment industry, as native Canadian celebrities such as Celine Dion, Keanu
Reeves, Jim Carrey, Michael J. Fox, Rachel McAdams, Donald Sutherland, Ryan
Reynolds and Mike Myers have already successfully done. Indeed, Danso has
managed to carve his own niche in the perpetually-fickle world of show business.
