Our tv makes a loud hissing staticy noise when turned on for more than 45 minutes?

Our tv is Samsung DLP HL-P4663W 46 in. Rear Projection HDTV-Ready Television
After having our TV on for about 45 minutes it starts to make this hissing sound which starts low and gets louder and louder, so loud it’s like it is at max on our tv. So we shut it off when that happens.
Though just now, we turned on the tv and it made the hissing sound immediately, and then we turned the tv off and it wouldn’t stop until ti reached as loud as it could go.. then the tv officially “turned off”
We don’t know if we have a warranty or not, so we’d like to just figure out the problem to this hissing noise
does the hissing sound come from the speakers? If so the internal amp could be going bad. You could switch to using home theater speakers and an external receiver, and turn off the internal speakers to get you by.
If the noise comes from something other than the speakers, it could be an internal component getting to hot and failing. Seen any smoke? Probably a capacitor or something on the power supply board.
